I don’t understand why splitting windows in sublime text 2 should be this hard: create two columns layout, make clone file, then drag and drop the window. Fortunately, there’s a plugin for that™ . Mike Fowler’s Simple Clone for Sublime Text 2. Add Simple Clone repository from GitHub (I’m using package manager), install package, then splitting window in sublime text becomes as easy as clicking cmd+shift+right or cmd+shift+down now.
