One of the most obvious dilemma I realize as a parent: I would like to keep my kids from unfortunate events as much as possible but at the same time as a grown up I realize that those unfortunate events are the things that brought me to the state I’m currently in; That’s how i learned. In many way, those events also molded me.

Without those unfortunate events, i’m not sure i learned all the necessary things that is needed to get to this point.

So I have a huge homework upon me: know when to step in when it is necessary and know when to bear the pain of seeing your kids struggle for their greater good. When to intervene and when to let them live their life.
