I read this very interesting piece today on QZ:
Google looks for the ability to step back and embrace other people’s ideas when they’re better. “It’s ‘intellectual humility.’ Without humility, you are unable to learn,” Bock says. “Successful bright people rarely experience failure, and so they don’t learn how to learn from that failure.”
A must read piece.
The more we learn, the more we feel stupid.
Since sooner or later we will find out that there are thousand peoples much smarter than ourselves. People without intellectual humility are them who learn nothing (I think) 😀
Yep. That’s pretty much why I tend to say this at the end of my opinion:
