Efek Rumah Kaca – Sinestesia. I’m currently listening this album for the past month. My impression: Rolling Stones has to update their top 100 Indonesian album list. Ditch someone, and put this album somewhere on top 20. “Jingga” is really powerful, a beautiful ode for Indonesian’s dark history in. “Putih” is a beautiful narrative that makes death feels that grandiose. Merah turns Indonesian’s youngster skepticism towards politic into something anthemic. You can literally quote every phrase of the album.
